The people on the streets are so curious of us...when we stroll down the street with our babies they want to know why we have them..our guide made up a card we wear around our neck to let them know we are adopting these children and taking them back to the United States... once one person comes up to us...then it is a herd...we were really mobbed today...our friends Michelle and Robert..their baby Avery..are in the pictures also!!! they are from Texas

From these pictures, it looks like you found the shopping area that runs directly behind the hotel we stayed at (Holiday Inn - Shifu) while we were in Guangzhou. When I read an earlier post, I was wondering if this was where you were at. It's really not that long of a walk from the island, either. There's a Papa Johns Pizza in that area too, that we really enjoyed eating at. Have fun. We'll probably be at the airport on Friday.
